The Great Mosque of Algiers ((アラビア語:جامع الجزائر الأعظم); or Djamaâ El Djazaïr, the Great Mosque of Algiers, will feature a minaret and be able to accommodate up to 120,000 worshippers. As the world’s biggest mosque outside Mecca and Medina, it will be part of an enormous complex including prayer rooms and measuring , a dome measuring in diameter, a cultural centre with an amphitheatre (1,500 seats), a library (2,000 seats), an administrative building, a public security office and a school of Koranic studies including residences for 300 students. ==Architecture== The new Great Mosque of Algiers is to be built on a ca. 269.000 m² site in a central position on the bay of Algiers very close to the sea. With its rectangular buildings, the architecture of the mosque combines tradition and modernity; tradition, because the design is derived from the earliest type of mosque, the pillar mosque. Among the features that define its characteristic style are pillars that open upwards like flowers and also provide space for technical supply lines. They are found throughout the complex. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The Great Mosque of Algiers」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
